What are the types of processing levels?

System Ready (1B) imagery

This processing level is intended for geospatial professionals that are looking to apply their own tools and models to fully process the data and extract the information that they need. It comes with all bands, full bit-depth, and requires further processing to be ready for deriving downstream analytics.

View Ready (2A)

This processing level is intended for people that want to get straight to using the data to extract downstream analytical information. It provides a strong basis for deriving downstream analytics, and has been orthorectified against a coarse elevation model. It comes with all bands and full bit depth, and is our recommended starting point for most users.

View Ready (OR2A)

This is a slight step back from the 2A product level, in that the data has NOT been orthorectified, but is instead ready for processing against a more precise elevation model. As such, this product is recommended for the users that want to apply a custom orthorectification against a local, detailed elevation model.

Map Ready

This processing level is intended for visual analysis only, as it has been pared down to a file that requires no geospatial experience to open and visualise, as standard preview tools can open and show the files in full detail. This data has 3 bands and 8-bits per band, and has been orthorectified using a coarse elevation model.
