If I want to order an image in the Maxar Connect app, how do I do that?

The Maxar Connect app allows you to order a satellite to capture a New Image for a specific location. Please see below for a step-by-step process in ordering new images.

Desktop/New Image

1. Once you are logged in, click the "New Image" tab on the navigation bar to the left of your screen.
2. Set the area of interest box or search for a location in the search bar until you've identified the area of interest you'd like to select.
3. Once you've selected your area of interest, select the desired resolution, select the date range during which you'd like the image captured, processing level, You can click "Advanced Options" to also select the desired percentage of cloudiness.
4. If you are done placing your order, click "Go to Cart" and if you want to order more images, click "Continue Exploring.”
5. Once in the cart, if the image meets your criteria, click "Check Out" and enter your personal and payment information.
6. Click "Pay" to complete the purchase and send the order to be tasked.
7. Delivery details will be sent via email and you can always view your order history in the app under "My Orders.”

Desktop/Existing Image

1. Once you are logged in, click the "Existing Images" tab on the navigation bar to the left of your screen.
2. Set the area of interest box or search for a location in the search bar until you've identified the area of interest you'd like to select.
3. Once you've selected your area of interest, options for Existing Images will appear in your navigation bar. With each image option, you can view the resolution, the date it was taken, the percentage of cloudiness in the image, the price per square kilometer, and the minimum size required. As you hover over each Existing Image, the surface area of the Existing Image will appear highlighted in orange.
4. Once you've found an Existing Image that meets your criteria and captures your area of interest, click "Add to Cart". If this option does not appear, you may need to expand the area of interest box to meet the criteria for the specific existing image.
5. If you are done placing your order, click "Go to Cart" and if you want to order more images, click "Continue Exploring.”
6. Once in the cart, if the image meets your criteria, click "Check Out" and enter your personal and payment information.
7. Click "Pay" to complete the purchase and send the order to be delivered. 
8. Delivery details will be sent via email and you can always view your order history in the app under "My Orders.”
